Quick Help

My tasks aren't syncing between devices

DUEL v1.0 stores data locally per-device. iCloud sync is coming in v1.1. For now, use Export → JSON to move data between devices.

I lost access to Pro after reinstalling

Tap Settings → Restore Purchase. StoreKit will recover your entitlement from your Apple ID.

The trial won't restart after I reinstall

By design — the trial is one-time per device (persisted in Keychain). If you have a legitimate reason for a reset, contact support below.

A task died that I wasn't ready to lose

Open the Graveyard tab, tap the task, choose Revive. The decay timer starts fresh.

Notifications aren't arriving

iOS Settings → Notifications → DUEL → Allow Notifications. Then in DUEL's Settings, ensure the notification toggles are ON.

My widget shows stale data

Home Screen widgets refresh ~every 15 minutes. Force a refresh by opening and closing DUEL once. Interactive widgets (tap-to-complete) require iOS 17 or newer.

App Lock with Face ID isn't working

Go to iOS Settings → Face ID & Passcode → ensure Other Apps is enabled and DUEL is listed. Then in DUEL → Settings → Privacy → toggle App Lock on.

Siri doesn't recognize "Add a task to DUEL"

Open DUEL at least once after install, then try the phrase again. Siri learns shortcuts after the first launch registers them.
